I'm thinking about buying one of these: http://www.midwesthuntersoutlet.com/item.aspx?PID=191796&w=PQ%2BJDyOLrQE%3D to put on top of a Plum Crazy lower.
Thoughts?
Seems like a good way to build a decent inexpensive rifle. I've heard these are decent but you're not going to get superb accuracy out of it. But likely will be accurate enough for what you may intend to build it for.

Here's another option with a BCG included for $40 more. Also has an M4 profile barrel and you won't have to worry about a front sight.

the uppers you liked to have a clamp on gas bock and the bbl is not drilled for a FSB that would utilize pins. other than that it's a decent shooter

For $50 more you can get a BCM, way better quality and available in standard/M4/lightweight, 14.5" pinned/unpinned or 16", carbine or mid length. They include a pinned gas block/sight also. They are out of stock right now but usually get them in fast. Can also check gandrtactical.com for them.
