Buds Guns in Kentucky has been one of my favorite online dealers over the years. However I have noticed that they have become slowwwww shippers as of late. I ordered a glock 29 from them over the labor day weekend and have not heard a peep from them about when it will ship. Called today and found that will get it out by Thursday 11 days after I paid. I am not crying about it but just wanted to give others a heads up about the delays. Couple of other people I know of have also received slow service.There cross town rival Jet guns sends everything bought from them that same day to bad they did not have the 29 in stock. Hopefully the slow ship is not a permanent thing.

try delton i ordered 2 rifle kits from them on 8/22 its now 9/13 and i just called them and they said 20in barrels are still on back order and they could not even give me a eta [Bang][Bang][Bang][Bang]

I know how you pay can have a significant impact on how Buds handles your order. I made the mistake of using the electronic check option and my order took 6 days before they processed it and another day before it shipped. (even though the funds left the bank on day 2).

In hindsight I would have just paid 3% and used my credit card for quicker processing.

I ordered about 3-4 months ago and I continue to watch buds as I plan my next purchase and I've noticed recently that they have added an icon indicating select items "ship same day for VIP members". Seems certin items are shipping quicker not only based on inventory but your status as a buyer.

I've noticed that too.

The "electronic check" option is actually slower than just mailing a check.

Anyone bought from them lately. I know they had gotta pretty sloppy last year with shipping times but its the only place I can find a FDE P22.

Buds is one of my go-to resources when I want to find a new gun at a fair price. Their inventory, like a lot of places right now, is pretty depleted compared to normal, but their recent shipping and customer service has been top-notch.

Just don't pay via echeck as it takes a week for payment to clear before shipping!

Note-they now ship most pistols with only 2 mags even if they come from the manufacturer w/ 3. At least this was the case when I bought an XDm 5.25 a few months ago. They were only selling it w/ 2 mags. I bought the XDm from Vance Outdoors and it came with 3. The gun was also cheaper at Vance.

I bought a couple of Mosin Nagants a little over a month ago. It wasn't too bad for shipping considering they had the turtle next to them indicating a slower processing time. Though I am a little upset right now as I put a layaway payment on a sig 9mm that in the pic has rail, but two days after my payment a disclaimer that the guns have no rail popped up under the pic. Still only paying 469.99 for a new sig sauer, but I was really wanting the rail on it.
