Just an FYI if anyone wants to say hi or pop some caps- I'm going to be at Firing Line Sunday morning when they open to do a little shootin. I drive a white 4Runner, have white hair and will be shooting a S&W M&P fast and furious. Look for the paper targets with the fist-sized holes in the middle!!! Might even bring my 44 AutoMag. [Beer]

Pistols or 22 rifles only, all indoor, it's a mite strict but inexpensive. As a member (like $120 a year) if I bring my own targets (and I do) I pay $6.50 with no time limit. The range is a mite short, but as far as you need for combat pistol practice. If you're not a member, and you can find me, or show up at the same time- I can "sponsor" one person into the member side. C'mon down! It's not like we can all hang out together, as there are 2 sides to the range, members and public. I think 7 or 8 booths per side. Public fills up pretty quick, the members side is usually not full. However there is a pretty large area behind the glass dividers where folks can sit, hang out and watch others, both sides, shoot. Great view if there's a woman shooter with a nice butt! I usually shoot a couple of hundred rounds, do some shopping in the showroom, then a couple hundred more.

I will be there from 10am prob to pert near 12 noon or maybe a touch after. Please come and say hi. Once you've paid your range fee, there are no travel restrictions, you can wander about as you wish. They do not really keep track back there, except you can't just grab a line, they do assign you, but you can wander around and hang out. I commonly leave my target up, leave a pistol, mags, ammo, etc on the crossboard in the lane, then take a break and do some shopping. Know what I mean? No issue at all.

I wish they had a 300yd range thereI could try out a tricked out GSG 1911AX357.06 Itraded a goat for with a 10x75 scope, laser uber kool glowy thingy system and bottle opener Last time I did it at 500 yards but the wind was blowing the postage stamp I was using as a target and the radioactive night sights were interfering with my xray vision that I need when I drive my 1982 bored and stroked chevy malibu station wagon but the motor is being exchanged for a intercumminstroked turbo propane blower popoff turbinator surplus engine that came off the uss vincennes so my aim was off and I was just hitting the cat food can it was stuck to but it was great shooting 2,364 rounds through the same hole.My girlfriends uncles cousins lovers sister came along on the Yamsuzahondkaweesuki that we built on Aunt Ethels canning counter while she was canning turnips and kimchee but she couldnt shoot because she was on her period and had really bad gramps and was out of kotex so she wadded up 16 Sunday newspapers for a tampon and she couldnt aim and shot the cat.

Great day fer shootin', we were all there in line at opening, but I didn't recognize Sideshow Bob because he decided not to shave since he was at my house 2 weeks ago! He was shooting on the public side so I can't testify on his shootin. Byte is a good shooter after warm-up (like me), we're gonna work with Ridge! I shot well today and my last target was my best, all of the way downrange. Aftermarket match barrels work on the polymer guns, if mine is any example. I rec'd a KKM barrel for my M&P yesterday from Brownells. Worthwhile improvement. We all went to TGI Fridays afterwards for lunch and ogled our waitress[Lick] the entire time we were there- even Bob, who tried to be a little more nonchalant than the rest of us! Good times and we encourage all members to get together whenever possible and shoot! [Awesom]

Hell he was wearing a full coverage mosquito net. Just firing so fast and furious at the Zombie target coming towards him that eventually the casings just burned right thru. It was a sight to see. He even tried to trip me as he ran away from the target.

I use to have a pair of shooting glasses that bowed out a little and had .40 spent shell bounce of the lane wall and stick between my glasses and the side of my face...that shit sucks when firing downrange!! Really tests your safety knowledge.
