View Full Version : Glock 34 Gen 4 IDPA Holster?
Hello,
I have been looking everywhere and can't seem to find a Glock 34 Gen 4 kydex holster.
Due to the changes with the Gen 4, it will not fit a Gen 3 holster.
Any ideas?
Thank you,
Dale
As with all things new, you will have to give the holster companies time to get a sample and start production. I'd venture a guess that Glock store is your only option, or at best a DeSantis leather OWB holster for the Glocks, or even a different brand (my BEII fits perfect in an XD holster).

Uncle Mike's paddle holster fits the Gen4 G19 fine. I run a Gen3 G34 in my Uncle Mike's. I'm pretty sure a Gen4 G34 would work.
If you go that route, do make sure to get the *paddle*, as the belt loop version isn't IDPA legal.
Should run about $25 locally, and maybe less than $20 online
Hmm....I have a Blackhawk Standard CQC Carbon Fiber Hoster for my G19 Gen 4. If the G34 Gen 4 fits (with the muzzle poking out) would that be IDPA legal? Paddle option of course.
Thank you,
Dale

The belt/paddle distinction is a UM-specific deal.
I can't quote chapter and verse, but the protruding muzzle is fine. I've run that way for almost two years, including IDPA state champs, and no one's said a thing.
Awesome, that will work for now. Oh, I understand about the paddle on the UM holster now - had to re-read that. The Blackhawk should be fine with either the paddle or belt option.
Thank you for your help,
Dale
Just an FYI:
The G34 Gen 4 will work with the Blackhawk CQC G19 Gen 4 holster - the muzzle does poke out the end of course.

I run Bladetechs for competition. The tech lock is rad and you can adjust the tension.

+1 for Bladetech if you don't mind a 5 week lead time. I just got mine in and it is pretty sweet compared to any holster I have tried and it protects the crown so that is a bonus.
