I need Help starting a 7.62x25 owners club [Archive] - Colorado AR-15 Shooters Club Discussion Forums

I need 45 people to get on board with me and we can get this started. Thanks for your time.
isn't that pretty much a military only round ? so why wouldn't you just use the military firearms section? im sure there is already a thread or 2 started about firearms that use that round .if not start a commie smg thread or a type 53 vs 213 vs cz thread (all military pistols ).
if its info your looking for , just start a thread and ask . there is a ton of info to be had if you just ask nicely[Flower].

im just teasing I was going to put up a thread I wonder which round has killed more people, the .223 5.56x45 nato or the 7.62x39. It was just kind of an iteresting thought being they both have been used in so many wars, and have been around for so long.

Yes I take it you are onboard A separate forum. No. Right now would not be the best time anyway because all the threads would be about how I can't get any cheap X25. [Beer] And what you see in the Pic is one of 3-4 out there and I know two of the other owners. [Coffee] It was all a case of bad timing. When I built mine it cost $800 when a regular Fal could be built for $300 and .308 was $129 per K.

All the kits for the AR/AK were driven buy the price of ammo. Ammo gone now and the AR kit I bought was a total POS to the point that I sold it before I built it. Just a thought.

It was only 9-10 years ago and even less. We bought a pallet of .308 SA in 2006 for that. I think it worked out to $160 for 1250 rds cases shipped to NM.

Cheap kits were up to 2005. $89 buy two get free shipping. G-1's and Imbels. Then the R-1's came in and they still were cheap. [Coffee]

In 05 I bought consecutive numbered Imbel non GL receivers for 140.00 each. Put one on a cherry Imbel kit that I think I traded some ammo for, the other went on a very early, very clean STG kit that I paid 200.00 for.

Those were shinin times!

That was me building the WAC with the DSA LW lower and all the other LW parts. The SA was the metal cans with 9 BP's each for 1260 rds. If you just bought it for UPS they downloaded them to 7BP due to the weight as I remember.

I bought the bolt/carrier and barrel from FWRA because he could never get that part of his Meeper to run. [Coffee]
