Hello all!

I'm a Lakewood resident not new to the forums and not new to firearms anymore, thanks to Sigforum and practical experience upon buying my first Sig. I have a list of firearms that I do a variety of activities with. I am also a LEO applicant with a handful of agencies.

I would like to gain experience, get to know many people, and help out other people when I have something to offer.

So, do we all get together and shoot regularly? Anyone else in here a LEO? Email me if you're a LEO, you don't need to respond publically. I'm a volunteer firefighter as well as an avid shooter.

Anything that is done may as well be done right, responsibly, and creatively. That is just the way I see it.

There are many shoots but the one I like best is the Clear Creek IDPA shoot. The next one will be Oct 14. More info at http://www.coloradoshooting.org/fridpa.htm
There sure some LEOs that shoot there. You would be welcome.

It is good to have LEOs on board.

We have a shoot every month, plus the occasional spur of the moment type thing.

Where in the Adk's are you from? I spent 2 years near there & hiked a few 46ers - way back in the 70's.

Hi Pistol-Packing-Preacher. I was just thinking since you live so closely, what would be your availability to meet up? I live in Lakewood right on the Golden line near 8th Ave. I asked you this in another section of this site, so, sorry if you see this twice.

Thank you for the suggestion with the IDPA. I was also thinking we might be able to meet up over this as well.

2'ndChildhood - I am from Lake Luzerne and is where I went to HS. I went to college to get my Bachelor's at Paul Smiths at the same time they became a 4yr college. I solo backpacked many of the 46'ers myself as well, many as I was 16-17, going on 8 years ago now. WOW has it been that long?????
