Those that risk their lives for others should be required to listen to stupid jokes at a ceremony to honor their sacrifice and commemorate their gallantry...

I am no fan of the HNIC but in this case I think your outrage is a little misplaced. Having a live MOH winner you can joke with is a big change of pace for the president. The kid didn't seem like he was offended; the president took time to have a beer with the kid as well, so maybe pump the brakes a little bit. Maybe save our rage at the Prez for when he really deserves it.

Super proud of that young Marine. His actions were amazing.

I have a hard time looking at Barry and not seeing someone that hates America and everything good about it (which would include our servicemen and women).

But a little levity at these ceremonies is fine. At least he still allows the prayer at the beginning.

Ya know, I think was all in kind. Didn't feel offensive to me. Hats off to Dakota. If he was offended, I am sure we would have heard about it by now.

I am so disgusted with the BO we have, that any picture, video, or words are offensive. I can’t look at or listen to it…It just stinks! Mike Rowe will need to be brought in to clean the White House when it is done. It is too bad that this true American wasn’t given the MOH by somebody worthy to be the commander and chief.
