How do you feel or what when you see a civilian open carry?
Seriously...
Do you think since the individual has a firearm holstered the individual is probably cool and you let them be on their way?
Or do you get a little iffy and wonder?
Of course all this outside Denver city limits...
DANGERTASTIC!

I can't speak for others, but we underwent Pavlovian conditioning, so that when we saw any weapon in a holster our sub-conscience automatically triggered deep seated cravings for donuts. [ROFL1]

I love guns so the issue really may become that I accidentally detain someone longer than I should because I am trying to chat them about guns...
Then I feel like the kid no one wants to play with when they run away thinking I'm a freak.:(

Yep. I run into that all the time. Hard to find like-minded people in general public.
Last time I got a speeding ticket I tried to ask the officer about the (i think) radio location antennas on his cruiser. He said something like, "You don't need to know"
So those four antenna that are in a box pattern, radio locators? For like when they drop a thing in the bag with money at a bank robbery?

It's for Lo-Jack. They assist in the triangulation of the signal coming from the stolen vehicle. When I was uniformed, I had a Lo-Jack equipped patrol vehicle and I LOVED chasing the stolen cars down! The looks of the perps when you swoop in and block them off, guns a pointing, was priceless!

Can you explain why when the police found my friend's car in another person's garage, they didn't do anything but collect the car? They asked the guy whose car it was and how it got inside his garage with the door closed, and he said he didn't know. So they just took the car and didn't pursue anything else.

No, Stuart, I can't. Not knowing the situation and all the details, I can't give an opinion.

I've told you about it before, with more details, and you basically said the same thing. I thought I'd try to trick you into a response this time. Needless to say, my friend was pretty disappointed in the result.
Yeah...that's it...
Elhuero removes his truth and logic from the holsters on his belt. He places them on top of the money and cards on the table in front of him, and pats them gently with his hands.
"There. Now we can be friends."
