View Full Version : the tinfoil hat thread
yep i got my hat on today and was watching alien stuffs about stone cutting .
so the theory is that the egyptians had alien help to make some of the carvings (drills or lasers ). i think they had a better understanding of chemistry and were some how able to draw with termite , maybe by using a stencil of some kind .
what do you think , also feel free to post any theory's that are worthy of the tinfoil hat
Hey I know we ain't the only beings in the universe. And The aliens are coming back to see how we have fucked this place up.
Good show Ancient Aliens.
I think I caught that same show...
Also saw one on some nut bag who claims the crash at roswell essentially gave us fiber optics, kevlar, and lasers.
We would be pretty ignorant to think that we are alone in the universe.. that we're the top of the 'food chain'.
So much that can't be explained, or even accomplished today w/o MASSIVE equipment.. was accomplished by 'primitive' civilizations...
Either we are devolving to dumb creatures and our peak was waaaayyy back before modern times, or they had help.

Good show Ancient Aliens.i always wondered if its aliens that people see of if its just us monkeying with really fast engines in the future . and yes its a pretty good show . i used to be a fan of the show "in search of " but thats a whole other thread
we have family that is devout church peeps and they watch and now they are asking what if and saying maybe so.

Ancient Aliens is a great show-really like watching and the kids love it as well.
I think there has to be some credence to the concept. How can so many ancient cultures with no communication between them have such similar images they have recorded. Think the Maya's, the Egyptians, Easter Island etc.
Sorta like Bigfoot- so many "old cultures" have strikingly similar descriptions of a "Man- Ape" but no communications between them.
Or it was just ByteStryke[Tooth]
Personally I am tired of running around the woods, so anyone wanting to buy a really NICE Big foot suit let me know, I know I can't post a pic.

Signal received from a radio telescope, I was overseas at RAF Croughton, UK on active duty with USAF. The big dish antenna at the base started going crazy. I never saw the dish antenna move until that day!

This ancient alien theory may be older than this, but I recall as a kid listening to long conversations with my dad (once he got started, you just listened [ROFL1]) about this guy Erich von Daniken who wrote the book Chariots of the Gods? in the late 1960's.
Here is a link for more information: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chariots_of_the_Gods%3F
When I understand all of the mysteries of the universe, I will be with God. Gunga Gulunga [ROFL1]
Question about the next actual coming of the aliens... and this is a pretty good explanation... Do you really think they want to actually make formal contact with us? Look at our society today- do they really want to invite us to the intergalactic league of planets when we have mothers that neglect their children to go party and don't report them missing, people suing McDonald's because coffee is hot, and fathers locking their daughter in the basement and fathering her children. If I were an alien race I'd take one look at Earth and say "Woah, fuck that place, they're crazy down there!"
No, they will just realease another plague, catastrophic event or other and cleanse the earth of the vermin.

I refuse to belong to any intergalactic league of planets unless I can Open Carry [ROFL1]
I'm just sayin'

Same here! Also, I refuse to associate with any aliens that don't want to share their phasers when we go punch paper...
open carry is aloud in space , remember han solo ??

Oh yeah, THAT's real easy to understand.....

Damn you George Lucas- I liked arguing about who shot first- Han or Greedo... that went out the window after the Special Edition came out!

Ancient egyptians having a better understanding of chemistry...
Um, no. Not a chemical that could cut through the stone either.
Ancient history and structures like pyramids is all about cheap manpower and a few dudes with excellent skill in mathmatics. If u were a slave that beat out straight holes into stone every day or not eat, you're holes would be straight too.

Pretty sure the slave manpower basis of multiple theories has not been disproven to a degree of non-use. They may have disproved certain aspects of how the blocks were moved, but the theory of massive amounts of slave manpower is simply too well supported to not incorporate it into any current or future theories.
One of the current theories is moving round (ish) stones and shaping them in place. Initial testing of this is very interesting, and resolves a lot of previous problems with standing theories.
