Took the girlfriend shooting yesterday for the first time she did really well.
She was Deadly with the AR and my glock 30. she was not to fond of the XD subby though.
she handled the .44 like a champ along with the shotty shooting buck shot.

The guy in the green shirt in the third video sweeps the shit out of her. You got to love open ranges.[UZI]

Nice! She needs to learn to shift her stance and lean forward a tad, IMO.

I'm impressed that she didn't flinch when shooting the revolver when it was on a spent round! I see alot of people jerk bad on a dry fire. [Beer]

Rifle slung and on the secondary like a pro...nice!

Where is that it looks really familiar?

We are working on her stance. The ar broke before I could get her to practice shifting forward.
I was trying to get her to transition from the pistol to the rifle but she forgot i had strapped a holster on and had issues dropping the slide on an empty mag. And ken that is the little range near buffalo creek we took 285 up an then jumped over to castle rock for dinner at rockyard all and all a great day.

She held it like that for awhile when she started shooting.

My girl hates the G30, too big for her skinny ass. She's OK with the AR, but she'd much rather be left alone with the .22 lever action for hours on end. Oh well, I get to spend more on ammo for me. :)

My wife used to hold my ARs like a bazooka; with the stock sitting on top of her shoulder. I'd move it to the correct position, and she would try to put her face all the way back like your girlfriend does. Took the better part of a day to get her comfortable with a more correct position, at which time she was ready to be done with it.

Good on you for getting another person into shooting!

+1.

I know exactly how that is. My girl did the same thing. Really awkward shoulder position and her stance sucked!

It just took time, I wouldnt overload her with info so it didnt confuse her.

She is also a southpaw, so it took even more time hahaha.

I have her first time on video, an in between. Her groups now are amazing.

Good job OP, she will get it, just keep workin with her.
