Hello, recently picked up a rea sweet mod 60 from a member (Thanks jscwerve!), and was just looking for opinions on where to go for accessories, ie stocks, refinishing products sling mounts locally or pretty much a midway brownells kinda thing? also, being an older model, is al .22lr ok to shoot, or just standard vel etc. Thanks B

Model 60 and Model 795, basically the same rifle. Yours has a tube mag, mine has box mags.

I shoot Federal 550 value packs from Walmart out of mine and never think twice about it. I can't remember the last bad round I've had, although statistically I'm sure there has been some.

I just ordered a set of tech-sights for it, just to make it easier to adjust windage and elevation. I'm sure you could put a scope on it, but expensive glass might look silly on this rifle.

The only other thing I will probably get is a sling. Eventually I would like to shoot an Appleseed with my 795.

For what they are, .22lr rifles are plenty of fun for very little expense. Keep your eye out for the next .22lr steel dogs match at WHAC. Cysoto put together the one last weekend and it was a blast.

I hope you enjoy the rifle and can help spread the love of shooting sports to the next generation with your Model 60. [Beer]

My fourth on is the Carbon Fiber Anniversary Edition with the SS Barrel.

The fifth I just bought another ATI Fiberforce Stock off of Ebay for $39.87 with free shipping.

If you can find an old Ram-line Folding stock for the marlin 60 it could look like this: But good luck.. I have been looking for a while!
