Does anyone have experience with these triggers? Are they worth the money? I currently have a DPMS AR and have heard mixed reviews.

I have had them in ARs I have owned in the past and they are great. I shot a hell of a lot better with them then with a OEM trigger. Never had a problem with them either. 100% reliable from what I have experienced.

If you don't feel like plunking out 2 bills for a Giessel, CMC or similar they are a good choice for a "drop in" trigger. I think a better choice is the JP but it is not a simple drop in. It requires some tuning (timing the disconnector- setting sear engagement and overtravel)but provides a crisper trigger IMHO than the RR.

I have friends who have them and they are nice, however not my cup of tea. Ever think of a custom single stage? http://www.triggerwork.net/ Bill does excellent work, and fairly inexpensive.....

Always an option but as of late a spotty track record- I have had to "fix" a couple of them in the last couple of months.
Also the last 2 DPMS rifles that I have done both needed the hammers replaced due to being too soft.
Also I will disagree wIth just sending your FCG off for a trigger job. Every receiver is slightly different and the pull and sear engagement can vary from one receiver to the next. You can't adjust accordingly if you are doing the trigger work on a fixture and don't have the receiver to check for final fit.

OP- I will gladly clean up your stock trigger if you feel like taking a drive down 25 to the northern Burbs of Denver.

I don't have a RR trigger but Bert did work on my stock trigger and it's great! It's not a match trigger but I've shot it along side a RR trigger and I honestly think mine felt better. [Beer]

I paid wayy too much for mine a year and a half ago, but it's a fantastic trigger.

I have two rifles with them and they have worked great for me. Of course I have not shot many rifles with other triggers so I cannot really compare. I plan on putting one in my S&W 15-22.

I have 4 of them and they are awesome. Never had any trouble and I don't want to spend $200 on a trigger

I've read at Michael Voight (SP) uses them in his 3-gun ARs, and he ain't too shabby a shooter.

Custom fit JP single stage is pretty much impossible to beat in the 'sweetest trigger in the world' category.

$200 is pricey for a trigger. Waxthis it is a bit of a drive but I do get that way sometimes. I will send you a PM when I get ready. Would I need to leave my rifle for the day? Or is it something you could do fairly quick?

RRA triggers are great, I have one. Bowers has the Giessel for $189, I think, and Im sure Rob will help ya out with it. I am in the market for one, as soon as I have another project.

It sounds like BPT is a little closer, He does excellent work as well. You would be in good hands.

Mine works fine and provides a nice trigger break.

Definitely worth the money. A good compromise between the mil-spec triggers and the high end units like the JP's, McCormick's and Giessele's. I've got one in a .308 platform and anyone that has shot it has commented on the trigger pull. Try it, you'll like it!
