As you all know I am the president of Colorado Multigun and we are starting to hold local 3 gun matches at Clear Creek and soon to be at some other venues. We all know that I have a bunch of FA subguns and know some of you have some FA guns, but what I would like to do if there is enough interest is to have a FA category at our local 3 gun matches. Is there any interest beyond myself is the question? You would still shoot your semi shotgun and semi rifle, but could use your subgun in place of your pistol. The other scenario is that your would shoot your pistol, shotgun and then use your FA rifle for rifle portion. Our next match is 10/29 at Clear Creek and if we have enough interested we will have this as it own seperate class. That way you would only compete against others with FA guns. What do you guys think???

Maybe an NFA class so I can play with my new toy.

How about renting one of your subguns for the match and using it?

I am in but like I told you the 29th is out I will be Elk hunting. I will attend any match you have after Nov. 6th. I suppose you want me to buy a 9mm upper for my DIAS gun so I have a subgun. [poke] [roll]

Sounds good to me I just can't do it that weekend after hunting season I WILL come to a match so I can atleast make a fool of myself.

For anyone who is completely new to 3 gun we will be more than happy to get you up to speed with the sport whether you shoot FA or semi. I would like to see more people I know that have subguns at least come out and play. I always tell new competitors that they are only competiting against themselves.

Until you get something that shoots more than one shot per trigger pull you will just be quieter than most competitiors:))))))))))))

The other thought is that I could rent a couple of subguns to guys who want try it out if they don't own one yet. What do you guys think?

I think that's a good idea, but you shouild consider a little EXTRA training beforehand if you use open bolt guns. That means both user and RSO's. [poke] Karl.

Karl,

I would definitely spend time who whoever wants to do this explaining the weapons system if they are unfamiliar. That is a given.
