Yet another member of the population that needs to be de-animated

Saw this on another site.
Cliff notes:

Pit bull takes a bullet for owner, loses back leg motor function.
Owner puts pit up for adoption.
Dog remains in pound for 2 years.

Really hope "Owner" is choking on his own food or at least gets shot in the legs to even out the odds.

How in the colorful metaphor does somebody get rid of their dog after it SAVED THEIR LIFE?!?!?!

This is why I can't go to the dumb friends league, I will adopt all the dogs.

Both of my dogs are adopted and they are great dogs. I feel bad for that pit bull because it has the cart and is 7 years old...poor guy may never get adopted.

I hope someone gets him, he deserves a good home.
