Didn't have a real camer and my phones zoom function sucks, but here is a couple of the critters we saw scouting for elk on Monday. We also saw a HUGE herd of antelope (probably 50 head, insane), and 3 Mulie doe.

This guy was in our glassing spot when we reached it. Actually got about 30 feet from him before he moved. Didn't have a real camera, so this is actually my phone taking pictures through my binos.

These little ladies were what we went out to find. Out in the middle of a damned field in mid-day. Friggin unheard of. Also through my binos with my phone. No bull to be found though. Also, we heard not a single call all day Monday or Tuesday.

Ha ha, Pics were taken in the GMU I am hunting 2nd season. Not to be a dick, but I spend a lot of time scouting so I know where I need to go come opening day, and there is no way I'm sharing that info. Ask me again in November!![Beer]

Too bad you couldn’t take one of the cows then and there. You’re not gonna be seeing them there come hunting season. It’s like they know when we are out there.

Awesome pics, I have hiked all over CO and never have seen one of the Mountain Goats before in the wild.

Seriously? I almost always manage to run across a handful of em when I hit a 14er.
Found this little guy on one of the smaller mountains a little northeast of Mt. Evans...

That's why we have been scouting almost every week. To figure out where they are moving to. Also to see how the weather is changing in that area.

First time I have ever seen one that close. Very curious little sucker. After we scared him off the first time he kept coming back to check us out. Glad he wasn't aggresive, I wouldn't want one of those horns in my side.

Oh yeah, wasn't even thinking about that, good luck.
