Try The The Gun Room, I Think That The Name Of The Shop, Off Of Carr And Colfax. Last Time I Stopped By In July, They Had Cmmg 22cal Conversions Kit And Mags For Sell. They Are The Only Place In Town That Have Them.

Is the CMMG kit alright? I've heard (on the internet) some bad things there. Probably just whiners but maybe someone here knows better?

I got a used one from a board member this summer. Took it to the range to try it out and was i impressed. Worked great in my Colt m4. Their web site says to use a rounded hammer, but it worked great with my original one.
2 left at noon October 11 11 ask for Tim for the special price. PS - they are hanging on a displat WAY down to the right from the gun counter ( one of the employees said they were out)

The new CMMG Evolution kits are outstanding.
The $99 ones on closeout at Gander are the older, original-pattern kits, without the new features of the enhanced "Evolution" model. They should still be just fine.
Only bad things I've heard about CMMG are that their Gen 1 bolt hold-open magazines don't work very well at activating the bolt hold-open feature on the Evolution kits, and their Gen 2 BHO mags keep slipping further out on shipping dates.

i have spikes, ciener and cmmg conversion units. they all run well without needing to do any tweaking. A little syn motor oil on the rails before shooting and after cleaning. No issues shooting suppressed either. Like to part with 1 or 2 since i have a 522 sig .
For $99. you guys should be buying them up that's' a steal.

I have used the CMMG with very few issues.
The Gander Mountain at 88th and 36 had some a couple of days ago. One of the members here asked if the price was negotiable and got one out the door at $100.
