Since mostly seems Mods read this and say hi I figured it would be a place that was get to a lot of you :)
The post count thing prompted me to speak up and type some stuff so you know something about me.
I live at "Almost Nowhere" ranch. Actually haven't put up the name yet above the gate but when I do that will be what it will be.
I'm usually really picky about online info being given out because I deal with online security for my company and have been around computers since before the Internet became a household word. Probably way before.
I have wanted to meet up on some of the get togethers but none of them seem to be close to almost nowhere! About 2 hours to the foothills from here.
I get to work from home so I don't have to drive for hours to get into town. I wouldn't have moved out here if I did :) As my bio reads, I'm a computer guy.
Actually thinking of moving in towards town lately and that will make it easier to meet up with people. My daughter was married a while back and seems I'm going to be a granddad now. Funny but the wife is okay with giving away the 30 chickens and goat and two bunnies and a couple of horses and 100 or so acres so she can babysit, go figure :) I've mentioned it before and it was always a real stubborn no.
You probably don't remember saying hi to me in this same New Member Sign In area before but if you do then don't feel like you have to again :)
You probably already guessed but you won't find me on Facebook either :)
