Most likely coming into Buckley, up airport to I-70, so traffic will be borked. When W/Cheney came into town (and Clinton before), they always came into town at 0900ish, and complete fuxed traffic. I remember when Clinton held some kind of economic summit at the Fort, they closed 470 from I-70 to Kipling for 4 friggin hours. [Rant1]

Oh god you aren't kidding about the traffic.. when the first wookie did a lunch in cherry hills/greenwood it was HELL.

It's a bit early to start campaigning right? I mean these trips aren't coming out of his coffers.. they're coming out of MINE! (and yours)! [Bang]

Don't get me started on traffic- I missed half a class when W came to Golden to check out the National Renewable Energy Lab (which Obama has yet to do- who's green now?) because traffic was jacked up and I got stuck- but cool view of an Apache and two Blackhawks over head.
This trip is just another clown who is a waste of good oxygen coming to Denver to try to push his agenda on folks. Too bad I have work and can't get a ticket so I can hear his stupidity in person and laugh about it and post on FB about how dumb he is!

Yeah, I hear ya. When the Campaign Circus comes to town, the Jeffco Fairgrounds is a favored venue. My shop is about a half mile west of there, only one road in or out. When Palin came out during the last election cycle, they had it blocked off for over 8 hours. People in the residential area just to the south of us were effectively prisoners in their own homes, customers couldn't get to the businesses, it basically sucked gangrenous camel balls...

Why does he have to fly somewhere just to give a speech? This must cost a butt-load of cash.

I think I read somewhere it costs around $50million a day for the president to go anywhere... this includes setup, site survey, local LE overtime and cost to operate AFO.

Traffic? All the tinfoil guys said he was going to the bunker under DIA!! Some brown dwarf /comet/ zombie creating asteroid apparently.

Why should there be traffic. Glad he is not in Boulder. The libs brains would explode here. Way to much freaking HOPE in Boulder.

Someone did say he was going to NORAD at Cheyenne Mtn to hide out... then I heard another ridiculous conspiracy story about how the two earthquakes within 15min of each other (one here and one in VA) was the final touches on the tunnel that goes from DC to CO.... pahleeez. Where do people come up with this crazy talk.

Traffic will be screwed on I-25 and US 36, The HOT/HOV lanes will close in the early AM and remain closed until 1630 hrs. Per request of the S.S. Also to be accompanied by a rolling closure along the motorcade route in both incoming and outgoing travel.

Since the Fresh Prince of Bill Ayers will be in Denver tomorrow, I'm actually glad I'm in Houston this week.

So what was he doing in Denver anyway? Hoping he can get Colorado's vote again?

He's here to talk about his "Jobs Bill" or scam. But its really just another stop on his reelection campaign. At tax payers expense of course. We are just sheep and don't mind him wasting 50 million for a trip when $1 or less for a video conference would have worked.

I JUST got home, and feel like I might as well just leave for work now and sleep in the parking lot. Hell, I've done it before.

I won't be home to watch him fly in, but should be home in time to watch him leave. Got a good view of the Buckley runways just up the road.
