Byte, just be patient. Something else will come along and the next one will most likely be better than the one that you just missed out on. Worked that way for me. I was with one Company for almost 34 years. My job got cut (perhaps because I was over 50 years of age) and although I was off for a few months looking, the new one I found was a super GREAT job. It all worked out just fine for me and chances are it will for you too.

I hate snort lol

I had to build a snort box for some security compliance (we needed an IDS system to pass a security audit).

I shouldn't say I hate it, it just logs so much since we have it sitting outside the firewall. It is cool to see how many people are knocking at our door though, getting owned by our Palo Alto firewalls.
