Desert Eagle 44 Magnum

I just wanted to know what it would take to change my 44 magnum Desert Eagle into a 50 AE. Would it just be a simple barrel bolt and mag change or is there more involved? Thanks for your input.

IIRC Atrain that's all it takes but it has been a while since I swapped one over. Give Desert Eagle a call- their customer service and tech department is great. Should run ya just a touch north of 300.00

I looked up the rim sizes on the 50 AE and the 44 magnum, cause I thought that they might be the same size since the 50 is a semi rim. They are both 13.1mm, so it looks like it would only be a mag and barrel change. Also the case and overall length are both the same.

Actually, I'm pretty sure it's just barrel and mag (hence the rebated rim on the .50AE), but I could be wrong.
