I am using a Plum Crazy Lower for a dedicated 22lr upper. After about 5000 rounds, it started bursting because of worn parts in the fire control group. Plum Crazy is sending me new parts. I am guessing, the plastic parts will wear pretty quickly. I might put a steel fire control group in it.

I'd like to have one for my dedicated .22LR upper- wouldn't want to use it with a .223 upper. I probably would put a steel FCG in it.

They are really not that bad. The problem with them is the fire control group being plastic. Mine wore down to about a .5lbs trigger after a few-several thousand rounds. The company is sending me a new FCG and it takes less then 5 minutes to change it. I am sure I will be calling them again since I use this for a dedicated 22lr upper.

Can't you just put a metal FCG kit in it?

Yes I mainly purchased the PCF to try it out. I have the the 22lr upper on one of my spare receivers and it isn't a big deal to try their parts again. I may put a steal FCG in it later.
