I am going to be buying 1000-1500 rounds this month. I am newbish, so this will be my largest ammo purchase to date.
I have been looking around and trying different things, and have a budget of about $600. (Just got the girl a puppy)
I am looking for a decent round based on 3 criteria.
I want a round that is more accurate than PMC Bronze or the American eagle .223, is cheap enough to shoot, and is good for HD and SHTF.
Im thinking my forst option would be just to buy 1500 rounds of this .223 64gr BVAC PSP (http://www.surplusammo.com/products/.223-64-Grain-PSP-BVAC-%252d-500-Rounds%2C-New%2C-Bulk.html) for a total of approx $600
Or, 1500 rounds of Privi partizan 69gr PPU (http://www.aimsurplus.com/product.aspx?item=AP223HP69&name=Prvi+Partizan+PPU+.223+69grn+Match+HP+20rd+Bo x&groupid=21)for about the same $600
Or should I get like 500-750 rounds of each?
my lack of experience here has me seeking the knowledge of the uber gurus
