I still need to pass this by the wife to see what she would think, but dudley sent out an email that a table of 8 is $250, so just over $30 a piece. doesn't seem too bad.
its October 15, 6pm in ft collins.

anyone interested in going in on a table. I am still not sure if I can go, was thinking about it and wanted to see if you guys were already going or might be interested as well.

What's the money going to? Is it funding the event or something else?

I have been considering it.

Nope, I'll save my money for the NRA and RMEF banquets.

Depending on where the money goes to, I'd be in.

Not really sure. Im sure a portion goes to the event location and assume the rest to rmgo. I didn't see where it says where and what percent of the proceeds go. I am interested in the raffle and auctions and door prizes

I heard they are auctioning off a "30 caliber semi automatic sniper rifle". Wonder what type of rifle it is. Also, why do they have to call it a "sniper" rifle? Wouldn't calling it a 30 caliber long range rifle be pretty much the same thing? A sniper is a person in that profession, not a rifle.

Maybe.........

Is that definite enough? LOL

Along with the goodies, I am kind of interested in who the speakers are, and what they have to say.

I actully considered this, however a friend is having a Tarantino themed costume party that night, and If I punk out on it my woman will never speak to me again, she's so exited about it I think she pissed herself. Me ehhhh, not so much, Id rather get free gun goodies and a chance to win more. [Mad]

That Burris scope's price is MSRP. They can be had for $900 retail. And the IRA-X rifle seems a little overpriced. I just looked up the specs. Doesn't seem like $4200 worth of rifle. Just my opinion.

Thought about it, but that's a long drive back to Aurora and a drive to the Springs the next morning.

sounds like a no-go then! Its all good, my $30 can go toward ammo or something then! I'll go buy 100 rounds of 12 gauge and a box of pigeons to get ready for pheasant season

I would go to the banquet, but I more than likely will be out of town.

Sorry if you missed it. It was a bit crowded, no doubt, and we had to cut off ticket sales (we wanted to offer tickets up until the event started).

All proceeds from the event went directly into our 501-c-4, and specifically into our 2012 Voter Education program.

In fact, just two nights ago, we saw the fruits of some of those funds when we elected Tim Neville to the State Senate 22 vacancy (pro-gun hero Senator Mike Kopp resigned due to his wife dying of cancer a few months ago).

Senator Neville is an RMGO member and staunch gun rights supporter. The candidate who lost that vacancy was State Rep. Jim Kerr, who was considered a moderate/weak Republican.

So, the Banquet funds area already paying dividends for gun owners.
