Hello - I'm new to this site and don't do much on-line (too much computer time at work). I've hunted and owned rifles and shotguns for years, though I'm no gun expert. Was a member of a sportman club in MN where I enjoyed the range and getting my sons involved with the trap shooting. I learned of this community as a result of asking questions of a work associate who collects. I am interested in acquiring a hand gun, but a little intimidated about where to start.

I am interested in acquiring a hand gun, but a little intimidated about where to start.

I think handguns are one of those very important things where one size does not fit all. The best advise I can give is to decide what you want to do with it first and then try as many as you can.

We have informal shoots all the time and many members belong to almost any of the clubs that are here in CO.

Once you have an idea of what you want to do many here will be more than happy to let you try one of there firearms. This is the only way you will find what you might like.
