I seen that this morning on the news, after throwing up in my mouth I realized it was commiefornia, blew it off and just hoped harder that the earthquake that cracks them loose from us and make's them their own floating turd in the ocean comes sooner.

If something is tax funded, you should have to A) be a citizen, and B) pay taxes before you can get it.

In california there's nothing "illegal" about being an immigrant I guess lol.
How is it California can throw more money to illegal immigrants who TAKE JOBS, TAKE STATE BENEFITS....and don't pay taxes that fund these things? And they wonder why their state is bankrupt.
If this happened in Colorado I'd be up in arms...literally...

Dear Senator Sarbanes,
As a native Marylander and excellent customer of the Internal Revenue
Service, I am writing to ask for your assistance. I have contacted the
Immigration and Naturalization Service in an effort to determine the
process for becoming an illegal alien and they referred me to you.
My reasons for wishing to change my status from U.S. Citizen to illegal
alien stem from the bill which was recently passed by the Senate and for
which you voted. If my understanding of this bill's provisions is
accurate, as an illegal alien who has been in the United States for five
years, what I need to do to become a citizen is to pay a $2,000 fine and
income taxes for three of the last five years. I know a good deal when I
see one and I am anxious to get the process started before everyone
figures it out. Simply put, those of us who have been here legally have
had to pay taxes every year so I'm excited about the prospect of avoiding
two years of taxes in return for paying a $2,000 fine.
Is there any way that I can apply to be illegal retroactively?
This would yield an excellent result for me and my family because we paid
heavy taxes in 2004 and 2005.
Another benefit in gaining illegal status would be that my daughter would
receive preferential treatment relative to her law school applications.
If you would provide me with an outline of the process to become illegal
(retroactively if possible) and copies of the necessary forms, I would be
most appreciative. Thank you for your assistance.

If they were to follow the proper immigration process, they would not be illegals, hence there would be nothing to dislike.

Thank god. I was wondering if I was the only one seeing this and if I was losing my mind. How come all I hear about is how Christina Augilera has put on weight this morning instead of truly important things like this?

Trick is on them! California doesn't have any money to pay for college...
Although any aid they do have is just going to be piled on the debt, and when they declare bankruptcy, or default, or whatever they call it when a state goes into insolvency and can't pay their workers, it will all just disappear! Right? Isn't that how it works? The debt just goes away and everything goes back to normal, right?
