I heard there was going to be a Colorado Springs show sometime around the end of October. Does anyone know the date or location?

http://www.gunshows-usa.com/colorado.htm says:
Oct 22-23 at the World Arena, RK show
Oct 29-30 at the Rustic Hills Event Center, Prospectors Sertoma
I'm excited for the show at the world arena, I haven't been to an RK show yet.

The world arena show sucks a lot. It's not nearly enough floor space for the number of tables they have in there..
Not only that but we waited in line about 15 min just to get in the door, and this was after 10 am.

The last World Arena show was pretty mobbed. Lots of customers, not a lot of room.
Lisa will be at both. Look for the Fondis Firearms banner, now sporting the letters "FFL".
She'll be selling her training classes again, but we have a few firearms left over from this weekend's Tanner show.
She'll have a CZ-75 9mm, a Springfield GI 1911 45 (a Geneseo, IL gun, I believe), a Taurus .38 snubby, a Winchester 70 (post '64) in .270 with a Redfield Scope, a Mossberg bolt-action 12 gauge shotgun, a Sears Roebuck single shot .22 (Marlin 101). Plus a couple air guns and some holsters and the like. All is subject to prior sale (probably through GunBroker) but she'll probably have most of it at the World Arena. This is what's left from an estate sale we started this weekend at Tanner in PU Town. (Pretty good weekend, BTW).
Also, we have 3 lifetime memberships to a certain firearms training academy in Pahrump, NV available for sale (they won't allow us to advertise online so I won't say their name). We upgraded to the top-tier membership and have these available to transfer to another owner. PM me or FondisFirearms for more info on any of this stuff.
Edit: The Springfield, Mossberg and Sears guns are sold. But stop by anyway. Lisa will be there, I think. I won't be there due to a family emergency.

I saw the billboard for the World Arena show today on 85/87. I thought about going to the last one but saw the crowds and went Nah. It does help that I can walk to it but unless there would be a LARGE out of state presence I see no need to go and [Bang].
ill be set up at the Oct 29-30 at the Rustic Hills Event Center, Prospectors Sertoma

MOD Armory will be at the World Arena, RK Show. Feel free to come buy and check out the lastest in Night Vision, Sights / Scopes, Knives, Lights and more.
I'm looking for a few accessories for a Garand. Any guess which show would be the best bet?

This is the first I've heard of a show at World Arena. What happened to the Phil Long expo center? Last show I went to in the sprngs was there.

Anyone know how much it is to get in the door at the World Arena show?
Phil Long sold it to a church. Now the Sertoma show is at the Rustic Hills North shopping center.

5 or 8 bucks? Its been a while since I went to an RK show.
Looks like we wont have to put up with the world arena much longer, the next RK show is scheduled for the new expo center on north nevada!

Perhaps the crowds were bad enough last year, that many people don't go this year and we have the arena to ourselves.... :)

I find anything at these shows that are for Garands are very overpriced. Cruise the CMP forum, good deals there (sometimes).

I'm going to try to make the Sertoma show, missed the last couple of them due to conflicts. I've been to one RK show -- never again.

I'll have to check out the Sertoma show. Never been to it, but have heard good things about it.
it was very slow yesterday so i bet there are some sweet deals to be had today .come on down and say hello
I am just keeping my Gun and Ammo, to spread around to our local stores. I will not attend another Gun Show in the springs.
I had no desire to spend more on Reload Ammo than at the local sporting goods.
