I didnt want to dereail a thread pertaining to steel.
One member asked me about forging in a vacuum and isnt malleable
in a heated state.

I have no idea and this is just something I have talked about a few times with
my buddy who is a machinist and has some titanium (not an alloy as far as I know) that if it can be heated to melting point I can have.

Anyone know more about titanium to help enlighten this quest I have started?

Poisonous if created into a free air suspended dust i.e. ground/machined. Must be machined or ground in a flood system. Retains its physical properties at red heat. That's why it was used as the skin on the SR-71. No other material at the time was suitable due to the heat generated by the friction generated in flight at the speed it flew. Must be TIG welded.
Not sure about forging.

I know it hurts when it goes through your hand, that's all.
