Looks like a poorly made, sons-of-guns remake to me(as if sons of guns didnt already set the bar for bad reality TV)......
As others have said, I cant see much in that guys safe that would be too special. the win. trapper carbine and the '73 were pretty cool, but thats about it. I really liked the rich guys gun room though. Wish I could afford something like that.

The problem is I just know too much about the guy and the stuff he was buying/peddling. Maybe if I knew nothing it would have been more interesting. Watching this, one thing popped to mind. Unintended consequences. All it takes is one industrious, "I'm gonna make my bones" freshman revenuer to be watching this, with the blowhard throwing bricks of cash around like he was on the set of SOA, and suddenly the world just really got complicated. Doesn't help with the "head boobs" coming in and busting his balls about blowing 50 large in less than a week and it was all in large bills.

Population of Alma is 179 in 2000 and estimated by Alma to be about 275 now. I think they have one officer right now.

On a side note: I found it comical that the machine operator(not machinist) was flubbered by breaking cutting tools machining stainless dry at what appeared to be high spindle/feed rates.
Also I was amused watching the "Best in the Business" sanding what appeared to a hammer on a 12" disc sander wearing a glove[LOL]
You NEVER wear gloves when grinding/sanding on a stationary machine!
1- you can't feel when you are getting the part too hot.
2- you cannot grasp it securely.
3- you WILL suck your hand into the machine when it grabs the glove-I have seen this firsthand at a fab shop-it is not pretty and it will cause you to utilize your "off hand" for a long time.

The helicopter was so damn hokey. He could have drove to that ranch in half the time. But only we know that. The general viewer not familiar with the locations in Colorado will have no clue. So he drives from wheatridge to centenial to fly to lookout mountain area.
Yep. Not very efficient. However , they did show some good footage of our cool state from the air. I also noticed they sure like to show the town of golden a lot. Give the old west feel. Even though his shop in not in golden. I will watch again in hopes of a bikini car wash to raise money. Or maybe a lingerie gun calendar shoot.
Anyone else catch the look on the rancher's face when Rich unveiled the 50? I think the guy was interested, but not so sure about the color...

He could buy a B engraved Colt by Colt for about 3G, then send it to Bob Munden for trigger work, Nutmeg Sports for custom fitted ivories, then Bob Mernickle for a custom quick-draw rig- all for less than 5G. And have twice the gun. Also- who doesn't see a smaller Chumlee in the MIM operator, and stupidity in the face of the other smith down there? We all can now see that these shows will all follow the same pattern. As in nothing gets done right until asswipe sticks his face in it, and all shows end with an explosion.

I've been out of touch, but discovered this show last night. That this guy could get a TV show is proof that there is no kind and loving God watching over us.
Although I've made the mistake of dealing with his "master gunsmith" and it fails to surprise me, can you imagine some poor jerk paying $10k for a SAA built by a smith that not only didn't time it, but didn't notice until The Rich pointed it out? (Although I seriously doubt he could spot an out of time revolver, especially one that was off by the minimal amount he claimed on the show)
That's when I changed the channel. 10 minutes of him is more than I should watch until I get some blood pressure medication.

They were actually the first .50 I ever shot. got their stickers on my truck and safe!

i saw that name on the list of vendors for the Wyoming machine gun shoot! but that is the only time i have seen that name. and is it me or is a Browning Automatic Rifle cost more than 10,300? being full-auto and transferable? given based on what a member posted about the sliver value i would think it would cost more than that granted i seen some M14 and Thompson's go for more than that! i would just assume it being a browning and that type of firearm to cost more! imo but price is what ever someone whats to sell it for!
i just checked on gun-broker and they are all listed in the price range of 20k-25k i might have missed the part if he actually bought it i just figured that he did! i haven't been paying to much attention to the show as you could tell now!

I don't think there was one this year. the place out by ft. morgan got shut down or the owner had to stop, and i remember dudley saying CW wasn't going to happen but I don't remember why.

I'm the son of a mother who survived breast cancer... this idiotic take on 'pink' guns was horribly offensive in the month of October which is national breast cancer awareness month. He could've gone the other way and mentioned it in a good light and earned some much needed brownie points from the general public who is smart enough to realize what this could represent but instead he continued down the twat waffle path that he has beaten a path down. He turned into a dick before she could even finish the details of what she wanted or why she wanted it. The way he parades his closest loved one's tits for profit you think he would be a little more empathetic to the cause. I hope neither of them ever gets breast cancer and he never needs to know what that's like.
I also felt a shift in the gravitational pull that lasted a couple seconds a few months ago and now, having watched last night's episode, I can see that when Ma' Wyatt hugged the buxom customer that their breasteses touching was the culprit. Did y'all feel that too?

What is the point of this show? …besides watching this guy work fake scams to separate gun owners from their collections all of which is probably subsidized by the Discovery Channel. Wow, they used CNC to build two revolvers, converted a muzzle loader into an outdated POS, and did some engraving…that isn’t something you see every day. I guess there are people with money who don’t care how they spend it, but there is nothing in this show that would bring me into his shop regardless of the hot teenage daughter…not to mention the gunsmith shop does not inspire confidence. Fortunately, the DVR allows for selective viewing and editing when there is nothing else on television. I guess this thread is titled appropriately; however, they need to cover up the mom…[Puke]

Its hokie, and the most fake of all the reality shows thus far. Now maybe if the daughter got knocked up by a gangbanger in Aurora, and his wife was having tantrums like AMerican Chopper, it would have some entertainment value.(hint)

I have to say, I wasn't planning on watching this at all because I hate reality shows. But, the subject matter got me interested so I figured I'd give it a chance and downloaded the first 2 episodes.
Wow, I have got to say that he is totally full of himself and the reason I don't like dealing with gun shops. In several cases, he had roughly a 33% markup from what he bought the guns for, to what he is going to sell them for. Granted, I would be interested if he actually SELLS that Deluxe rifle for $25k, or the Emerson Pistol for $30k.

Oh, and by the way Wyatt: You don't take precise measurements with a ruler. You use calipers like your "machinist" did. And yea, +/- 0.001" is almost pathetic for the work from a CNC. I work with a local machine shop here, and they CONSISTENTLY machine parts to a tolerance of 0.0005".
That guy that spent $5k on the knuckle duster to be machined from scratch: You've got too much money! Yea, its unique but the fact of the matter is, you'll probably put the two pistols together in a glass case for display. Did Gunsmoke even engrave the Knuckle Duster they made? As far as I could tell, they didn't. Which means they didn't go the extra step to replicate the one you gave them like they should have. At least, thats' what I would have expected for $5k.
eta: Regarding the whole pink pistol that he refused to make for someone (haven't seen the episode, just going off what I've seen). He presented that rancher a PINK .50cal rifle! And you wonder why he didn't accept it? Did you look at the majority of the guns in his vault? They were all wooden stocks! Granted I'm not surprised he was trying to pawn it off on the rancher, who in their right mind would buy that? It would have to cater to JUST the right person who would want that color scheme.

Can't actually see her stance to judge it, her Weaver is really odd and looks uncomfortable to me, what with her right elbow locked and arm pulled tight across her body like that. So that looks like a comfortable, strong, confident stance to you?
This last episode, oh lord, you should of heard the wife. She didnt ask, she told me to change the channel, to which I was more then eager to myself. Though this show obviously was aired in october, I dont know when it was actually filmed, so the thoughts of "saving second base" may not of been on anyone's minds. It may not have anything to do with breast cancer even(the gal with the huge boobies). Rich's attitude sucks, his wife has some perky ones for her age, but look fake to me. Its hokie, and the most fake of all the reality shows thus far. Now maybe if the daughter got knocked up by a gangbanger in Aurora, and his wife was having tantrums like AMerican Chopper, it would have some entertainment value.(hint)

If that ever stops I will get livid about it. I offer to test the fairer sex for lumps too if they are to busy to check it themselves. I'm just looking out for them.

Id offer, Doc, but not till shes legal,lol. Havent had anyone I know die from breast cancer, but cancer itself runs on all sides in my family. Im all for searching for a cure and/or new means to combat it too. How long before penthouse or playboy try to get mom and daughter in a shoot? lmao
Have not watched the show yet, probably never will. I still think that young gal is genetically gifted (various pics), I like it.
