What are your thoughts and opinions on a Basketball, Football, or any other sports player carrying CCW.

If I understand your question correctly...

I don't think they (firearms) have a place on the field of play by the participants.

hmmm i dont think he meant on the feild. However, why should they be treated differently than anyone else? Iam not allowed to carry a weapon on myself at work, or in my car. dont assume they would be packing on the feild, but i dont see why they shouldnt be given the same courtesy as "normal" citizens any reason for the question? is there a backgound?

They don't need guns. They are already so tough they don't need to conjugate verbs. :P

Why would it be different for them? I don't see why there would be a difference for anyone who can legally carry.

That would make for an "interesting" football game...

Or wrestling!!!!

he means that the big wigs dont want them having a ccw at all. Which is about fuctarded as it gets. I think its rediculous. Hell the military don't even control you that much.

Is that why they have a "posse"?

Phil Jackson (Lakers coach) while coaching the Bulls tried to dissuade his players from carrying guns. There's been alot of talk about players carrying guns lately on ESPN radio, ever since one of the players shot at a car that a man was driving who got in a fight with him, or tried to run him over. I can't remember the details, but his buddies said they had left their guns in the car. The last week someone in the sports world said they did a poll and 70-80% of the major sports stars carry.

I say great! While I never listen to what some celebrity has to say about politics, enough people do, that if (when) the liberals try to take away the right to carry, maybe they'll speak up, and some people might listen.
