This gun is pretty sweet: http://e-gun.net/more.asp?gid=20096&gun=Pistol

I don't have one, but want one. Love to hear any feedback from users, or just thoughtful critics. Thinking about getting one.

Thanks

The HK P2000 is a solid, reliable and very high quality pistol. They are a little pricey, but can be found used at a much better price. There's been one bouncing around the boards here for a while. I bought it brand new, put a bunch of rounds thru it and sold it to another member who presumably also put some rounds thru it.

Not to mention that when put side by side, there's not much difference in height between the two. It's not a subcompact by any means.

Well in reality, its 1.5 G19s at most ... but if you want a hammer fired poly framed gun with a top reputation for quality the HK is a good choice.

There's a lot of other guns I'd buy first, but the p2000 "sub" compact is not the worse gun you could buy. And if you buy one and find you don't like it you can usually get most of your money out of it.

That really is the point isn't it? The first decision is hammer-fired or striker fired- then you decide from there. I have never- ever had a failure to fire, stovepipe or any kind of malfunction in any of the HKs I have owned. I can't say the same for Glocks- I've owned 4.

I love my P2000 (not SK). Accurate, reliable and smooth, never an issue.

Holsters are a pain to find in stock!

That and all the Glock guys always talking about how glock is better.[Kick2]

If you're left-handed- I'm your man. I have a few lefty holsters for the P2000!

I use to have the full size P2K and it was OK at best IMO. Found that I shoot a Glock way better and far a way better price new!!

On the other hand, my wife carries a P2KSK with the LEM trigger and she loves it. I like the V3 over the LEM trigger but to each their own[Beer]

One of the most solid firearms I've ever owned. I carry mine every day-trust my life on it. One of the most accurate and reliable pistols out there.[Beer]

I have a P2K in 9mm. Compact enough for me as is. It replaced the P228 in my carry rotation. Great gun, BTW.
