View Full Version : Working in the Springs
My work has me spending the next couple weeks working off Voyager and Northgate in CO Springs.
The drive is long, but it sure is beautiful...

And the view from the office:

Not sure of the view is worth dealing with the traffic. Of course, maybe you are going "against" traffic.
Yep, against traffic both ways. Doing about 70-75 in the morning, 85-90 in the afternoon :P
85-90 in the afternoon :P
You rebel. [Coffee]
Dude, a 1997 Cavalier convertible at 90mph is a scary thing. The mirrors rattle like hell, the windows whistle so loud.
But the sport tires make the ride less wobbly than my winter tires :)

If you ever need some great food up on the North end of town check out Colorado Mountain Brewery off of Interquest Pkwy. The BBQ Bison tacos are killer.

Dude, that's pretty close to where I live and those pics are making me homesick. I get to wake up everyday and see/smell southern Asskrackistan.

Springs is awesome to be sure, we have our own 14'er.
Sounds like we need to have a meet and greet lunch up north..

Sorry about that, man, but thank you for your service! [Recon]

Where are those? My coworkers told me about the only places they know to eat at, a Pizza Hut and Carls Jr up at Voyager and Northgate.

Go south on voyager, Rosie's just opened on Voyager south about a mile, one more mile to interquest and I-25 and you get to Cheddars

Is that the same one that was in Monument or different place?

Different, he just opened this weekend. Same owner and similar theme.

Sounds like right near the office. It's at Middlecreek.

Ever consider taking 83 if the traffic is bad? I hardly use 25 anymore.
I might consider it if I ever encounter any traffic :)

Ahh, I misread an earlier post. My bad.
I like taking 83 when I'm not strapped for time. It's a relaxing drive.

I'll second that.
I take 83 regardless of traffic. Much nicer views, much more relaxing drive, and 9/10 times you'll get there faster than you do on I25 even with no traffic.
alxone was saying the same thing today at Tanner.
+1 on hwy. 83. Just watch for the 18 wheelers doing 90 mph in your lane!
