Thanks to Kyle for steeting me over here from arfcom. I just moved here from Oregon a couple weeks ago, still getting settled in and moved. Hopefully I can join you for some shoots, looks like you have one near my new place. I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone.

Hey GG, sneak around him to the left and distract him. I'll take care of the rest. Hey wait, aren't you supposed to be a COLORADO resident to be manager here? I think we need to revoke some privileges here. :P (Mr. on the beach) Karl. [roll]
What part of OR? I lived in Lake Oswego for a couple of my high school years.
Welcome to the forums and to Colorado!

Wow, what a welcome. Thanks everyone. I have a house in Medford, Gman, north of ashland on the I5. As far as grinding on guns I do most of my grinding on AKs (AR's are just to purdy). I've built a few for myself and others. I do a little work on ARs as well but mostly just minor milling. My baby is my LMT carbine with all the do-dads but I've also got a Colt lightweight sporter that is a pretty sweet KISS rifle. I'm getting a serious lesson in patients waiting for a RDIAS to transfer but I've got my eye on a full size Uzi for my next toy (that's for Karl  )

The UZI gods are pleased. Karl.
...and no cheesy brats were sacrificed to appease them.
Ah, yes. Way down south in Medford. The home of Harry & David. We use to vacation just to the south of where you lived in Jedediah Smith State Park in Northern Cali. I learned to fly fish on the Smith river when I was 6. Trout for breakfast...yum!
I sure liked the property ownership rules in OR to those here in CO. You could walk the banks of any stream as far as you wanted, without trespassing.
There are some AK fans that may be able to use some of your expertise.
Again, welcome!

Oregon does a good job protecting it waterways and supporting the fishing population, a lot of tourist dollars depend on it. I just got into fly fishing last year but haven't had a chance to get out since I got here (not that the fish have much to fear). So where's the best guns shop in CO Springs?
