Ok, I mentioned my big file of survival stuff and some people were interested. I constantly add stuff that I find interesting and crap that maybe one day could be useful, but there's lots of good stuff in there as it is... mostly field manuals and other military files (some of the old FMs, like the Boobytraps one, were scanned onto a computer and so some parts are difficult to read, but you can get the gist of things). Its all organized in folders and such, I'll compress the main folder into a .zip file. If you'd like a copy, you can get it here:

mc, that's some awesome stuff there, but IIRC while I was working with CID for Fort Drum MP Station they told me that FMs, TMs, and other FOUO books and manuals were not for mass distribution to non-official personnel, hence why it's "For Official Use Only." Double check, I think that FM 3-06, 31-20/21/72 & 21-76 are all FOUO and not for distribution (and IIRC again, not 100% sure, it's a Federal Offense).
I know for sure that FM 2-22.3, FM 34-52, and FM 7-93 are FOUO and implicitly not meant for any distribution outside of DOD channels.

Again, just looking out for you, would hate so see any negative blowback for sharing DoD official manuals.

I appreciate the heads up. I checked before I compressed the folder and pruned the ones that needed it... all of the FMs and other gov't docs in the download are Unclassified and say "Approved for public release; distribution is unlimited."
2-22.3, 34-52, and 7-93 must have been declassified fairly recently... I just checked em again to make sure and they all say "Approved for public release; distribution is unlimited."

So I'm looking in the survival folder, under Basic Needs, there are parts II and III. It says I shouldn't do part II, III, or IV until I've done part I. Where is part I?

Its under SERE. From the title it could have gone there, in the Medical folder or in the general survival stuff, and that's just where it ended up.

They only allow one download for free customers FYI. That includes FAILED downloads.

I would suggest if your download fails, you can get a new IP address by doing a IP Renew/release to get a new IP address from your ISP (in your router if you are using NAT) or in your command line if you have your computer directly connected to your service provider with no home router.

Don't pay for the subscription. My friend would definately burn it for ya and stick it in the mail before having someone do that. Perhaps someone else can host it at a more reliable place.
