hey now, my brother in law really had a good idea with that. It is so he can control if my sister can get in the house or not! he wired it to the laundry room for a reason....the other splice that you saw is to the kitchen. She has to hit bother rooms before she can get her car in the garage[Beer]

I was thinking before I watched the video, "How bad could it be?" Well, I guess a lot worse than I thought. That was downright amazing!! I would love a tour of that place just to see what other projects they've done to "improve" the place. [ROFL1]

Heck, That's a "professional" job compared to some stuff I have seen. At least they used tape on the splices.

Years ago, doing demo on an office building, 18gauge lamp cord running 5 plugs.

That looks like some of the stuff the previous owner of my house did!

How about an 18ga lamp-cord, complete with the rotary type switch, spliced in to an electrical socket an run through the wall to power a 5 head track light?

-there's a fairly common term for that type of rigging but the political correct sorts would be offended if I typed it.

That's to code in Alabama but the electrical tape isn't required.

I was waiting for the same thing. Amazing how often stuff like that actually happens.

Dang skippy it's fine work ! I even made $200 on that job.
