I am getting ready to sign up for CMP to order an M1 Garand.

There was a thread not too long ago called M1 - Band

I expressed in this thread how I wanted an M1 and someone posted a link to the CO-AR15 membership for $10. I found the thread and clicked on the link, however it took me nowhere.

Also, I could not find anywhere else how to sign up for the membership. And, there used to be a link to CMP, which I can't find...unless I am losing my mind.

Can someone help me out please

Close, I was told that I could pay to CO-AR15 for a membership for $10 which would qualify as one of the memberships needed for CMP.

Unless I misunderstood

Sent you a PM as I think I found the page you are referring to but it actually no longer exists on here. Might want to talk to Marlin about it as the info has Rogers name and info on it and he is no longer the owner of the site thus the reason for the page no longer existing.

Here is also a link to Colorado AR-15 Shooters Club (http://clubs.odcmp.com/cgi-bin/clubInfo.cgi?clubID=4106) info from the CMP site. Couldn't tell you if the info is current or not.

Rogers parting words of wisdom to me were to get rid of it. Since it was all his deal anyway, and I had no idea of what was required for the paperwork, I did so.

Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.

I know it's a little more than $10 but you can join CSSA for $25, I think. CSSA membership qualifies for CMP purchases.

Thank you for sending this. $25 isn't too bad. I will check them out.

Sorry to revive an old thread, but hoping that some of the information was wiped out during the server crash. Is it still possible to fulfill the CMP membership requirements through this club? If so, please let me know how (PM or post a reply).
Thanks!

the Garand Collectors Assoc may be a good one to look into.

No, As stated before go with the Garand Collectors Association. They forward your membership directly to the CMP if you so chose too and you get a nice journal every few months as well.
