Pretty neat! I wonder exactly what it was causing the failures. Chamber/bolt face misforming from the heat?

The gas tube finally gave out is my guess and what I saw on another site from predictions

I'd say the rifle performed quite well. I didn't see a single stoppage until the handguards were already on fire and I think that was a failure to eject the last fired case.

Thumbs up for the Colt M4.
