View Full Version : finally found a job
after 2 months, I had a couple of offers but I turned them down. I was offered a job yesturday that wasn't that bad, and offered one today that I accepted on the spot. The one I accepted today I have been to 2 interviews and really like the company from what I have seen so far. It is with Beacon Communications out of Denver but I will be working down here in Pueblo and Springs as a low voltage tech.
yay money for toys

Rock & roll!
What kind of equipment will you be working on/
They do intercoms, nurse calls, AV, security. Some of those are integrated with networks.
I talked with the owner today. This was my second interview, overall I am happy I held off for a job that I would like.

That sounds like it could have some interesting moments.
It's always fun to learn how new gear works.
I'm guessing you'll do installs & repairs?
Is your background electronic tech?
That's what I did for 8 years, now it serves me well in my handyman business.
Of course I've been cleaning rolling shutters the last couple days. (and repairing them)
But hey, the money and schedule works for me.
yea I have a pretty strong background in network and communication equipment, maintanence, repair, and installs type stuff.
