View Full Version : Dedicated .22 upper for my M16

This upper was built by Alan it's a custom barrel made for .22 it does not use the ciener chamber adapter just the bolt.


This is with my predator suppressor on it.

This is without the suppressor the .22 shell under the free float tube shows where the barrel ends. Kind of looks goofy without the suppressor but I love how it looks with it. It was a comprimise and I guess I can always change the tube if I feel the need.

Took a little tweaking with my RDIAS to get it to run like a sewing machine but tests in my basement confirm it runs great. Can't wait untill the next shoot to really put it to the test. I am sure some of you will help me out in that area. [wink]

Looks like you are using Remington gold jackets, they work great in my Akins as well. Do they stay subsonic?

They work good for cheap ammo and no they are not subsonic but for the price I can't bitch. [postal]
