I bought a Romanian PSL in 7.62x54R

I bought one today brand new imported by CAI.

These puppy’s are pretty hard to find, i got it for 750$ it came with a scope and 1 10 rnd mag. Since they have been banned for importation and the US military is gobbling em all up for the Iraqi Army I’m pretty happy to have found one new at such a reasonable price :)


Basically it'll take a few days to get to Voelker Research... I cant wait.

In the mean time, do any of you guys know where I can find decent priced mags for it, and a good and very sturdy folding type bipod for it?

I have a Romanian ak-47 as well, what i plan on doing is taking the scope that came with the PSL and putting it on the ak and getting a better more up-to date version for the PSL, any suggestions? Will the scope fit on the ak and psl without a problem? Are they the same mounts? I got my extra mags from Centerfire Systems as well

Classic Arms has the same deal and they are great to work with....I got my PSL from them

I have been toying with the bipod idea also...but no definite plans

Ya i know i've been talking with you guys forever now, and have never given pics... i guess i've just been having to much fun playing with all my toys! lol Once the PSL comes in i will line up all my good stuff and take pics for you guys :)

Anyways once the drag comes in you guys will get pics... I'm pretty amazed at the tech in the modern 4-12x42 scope... this should be a nice set up :)

Well good to know that bothe classic arms and centerfiresystems will work just fine.

It might fit..I tried mine and it seemed like it was close to slding into place

But I think it will be too far back

Unless you like using your eye for a scope buffer :-)
