I saw this at BravoCompanyUSA.com it really fits.
It is the soldier, not the reporter,
who has given us Freedom of Press.
It is the soldier, not the poet,
who has given us Freedom of Speech.
It is the soldier, not the campus organizer,
who has given us the Freedom to Demonstrate.
It is the soldier, who salutes the flag,
who serves beneath the flag, and whose coffin is draped by the flag
that allows the protester to burn the flag.

Thanks to all who have served, their families, their friends.
U.S. soldiers have never hesitated when they were called. [usa]

thanks to all!
kinda too late this year, but they're tying to get a 'new' tradition going here in the USA.
It's common in several other countries; Wearing your medals/ribbons once / year by ALL Vets.
IF I had mine handy, I would have.

Gee, I threw mine on to the White House lawn a while back........
20+ years, and the Class A jacket still fits. I just can't button the top two buttons.

maybe it shrank [roll]
its funny, last year before I had surgery mine wouldnt fit, hell I gave away all my BDU's becuase the pants didnt fit, I gained about 20 lbs after I got out because I was on steriods for a good while. Then I had surgery last summer and dropped about 30lbs and none of my new clothes fit anymore and I am to cheap to buy new clothes. I wish I had kept my BDU's now, but my class A's fit now.

Thanks everyone... [usa]
I wore out all the BDU pants a long time ago, Still have My original two field jackets, one with the 2AD patch and the other with the 101st patch. Still wear them both from time to time.

Yesterday was a reflective day for me. I am thankful to the generation that is out there right now doing their best for their country and their buddies, I keep them in my thoughts every day. The unsung hero's are the families that give as much as our soldiers do, for them I say thank you. Without their love and support we wouldn't be able to do what we've done and are doing.
So to all of us who have served and seen the ugly side of the world and know the truth and reasons... thank you!
