If I were to load my .30 carbine ammo from 1.680" down to 1.670" would this be bad? I loading a few mags and some times the softpoint 110grs hang up. But I took my calipers to some Aguila .30 carbine and its 1.670" thats why I ask.

As long as you are not using ball powder in a load that is close to max (IE compressed charge) you are good to go. Your only talking .010
I show MIN OAL on 110 gr bullets to be all the way down to 1.625 depending on the powder.

Thanks, I was looking in the book and could not find a min level to start at just max COL
