Generator running, heat going, Surfing Gun Boards. Priceless.
Lessons learned. Make sure fuel stabilizer is drained from carb b4 trying to start generator, Make sure correct circuit breaker is on once generator runs.
Hope everyome w/out power is ok.
Oh Yeah, make sure you have fule for more than snow blower on hand, Thanks Brycom
I do have power...and ~10" on the ground. Did all the generator and snowblower maint last month...I'm good ;)

Dont worry Jim their are suckers out climbing poles making sure you can surf gun boards [ROFL1]
A good portion of Greeley/Windsor and surrounding areas are without power, and cable/internet because of power.
A co-worker off Douglas rd has been without power since 10 last night. I had power this morning but couldnt watch Fox news due to a power outage takeing out my cable [Rant1] That was at 5 am, wife says its still off but at least we have heat (well she does, I am freezing my butt off). 20' off the ground is a lot colder with no wind blockage.

Powered up down here in the springs. Got about 4-6 inches on the ground and its still coming down good.
Surprisingly none of the Kommiefornians have taken out a power pull yet up here in Evergreen (and power was on at the apartment in Lakewood when I left at 815), we have about 10" right now in E-Town.
Now I have power!!! Thanks to Jim of course[Tooth]

No power here, posting from the phone.
GTG here in (sorta) Parker area.
UPS's on the computer stuff keeps it all running for a while. Portable 3800W genset is fueled, checked out, and ready to run the necessities.
Envious of my friend's new (used) 15KW liquid propane "whole damn ranch" setup.

Somebody decided to take out a power pole around 4am. I woke up to the slight beep of one of the ups's. Got some light in the bathroom and took my shower.
There must be a new rule in Texas because the troops were starting to come to work. The light off of gate 4 was out and I guess that means pretend it does not exist. They were coming down the ramp and just flying through the left turn like it was green. [Rant1] And I say Texas because I noticed 4-5 plates of the group that did not even think about stopping.

Link always helps. More than likely it is due to old fuel.

I can't say enough bad things about the stupid "Mo Fo's" that think a dark signal means give it the gas instead of treating as if it is a 4 way stop. And the bunch of sheeple that follow right behind them.
I would almost say they deserve what happens to them, except they usually end up hitting the person that did stop first and then entered the intersection.

Not old fuel. Drained and replaced to narrow it down.

I saw a ton of that today.
Wal-Mart at 630pm was a mad house too. A small part of town is without power but it was a good example of what happens when SHTF on a small scale and the sheep run to stock up too late.
Power was out at work today when I got there; but they have a generator the bigger than my truck (no really) so it wasn't much of an issue.

Plenty of power. Even if it goes out I have two cords of wood and something called a book. I figure I can try that if I get desperate.

Do you put this thing you call a "book" in the fire if you run out of wood?
