Ok Computer Geeks...
This guy needs some help.
I recently bought BF3. (A video game for PC). I am seemingly having trouble installing a "Microsoft VC++ (x86) file". There are two of them needed to be installed for the game. A x64 and a x86. The x64 installed fine.
Two errors pop up. The first is a 1603 error. Then a 1935 error.
Things I have tried:
Uninstall all - reinstall.
Manual install from MS.com
Made sure I was running in Admin mode with no exemptions.
I cannot seem to bypass this step of install.
I'm running Win 7/64. I cannot seem to find any fixes on other forums as well even though there are several suggested things as I've tried above.
Any ideas?... I have other folks looking too.
Thanks guys.
Tim
P.S. I am a computer idiot, so use small words!! lol
Been going at this for 3 days now... pretty frustrated....
