Sports Authority (Garts) dropping handgun sales -westminster

Was at Westminster Sports Authority (Garts) and was told they were in process of sending all their handguns to the Park Meadows store for final liquidation sale and they were no longer going to be selling handguns... sounded like deeply discounted prices (below dealer cost) on some models that the sales guy quoted.

This was late Tues. night so they may have been shipped Wed/Thurs. so I would expect them to be down at Park Meadows store by now if anyone looking for a good deal.

**Edited to update that maybe it is only the Westy store, assumed it was storewide but should have asked csr more questions.

They told me that the handguns and some of the rifles and shotguns were going to the clearance store at Wads & Bowles soon. Looks like I shall go there no more, like Dick's.

I never go to Dicks and since Garts got sold, I've never been there again.

I have not seen a hand gun in Garts stores in a very LONG time.... But then I havent been to the Westminster one in a very LONG time either.

I stopped going to Garts, when they took out the 55 gallon barrels of mil-surp rifles. Some here may know “when” I’m talking about. As for Dick’s, never been there.

The ammo sale the other week was OK, but their "clearance" prices are merely a discount from what had been high to about average.
