Refreshing to see more people being honest about facts. Teaching an individual to carry a weapon and employ it correctly means you have a duty to society and a moral obligation.
He is sticking to his morals.
Good for him.
**** that guy. What a close minded *******.
He is exactly the kind of person we DO NOT want representing gun owners.

I can see the points above, but I respect his right to refuse training to whomever he chooses. Many of us have given disclaimers in ads that we wouldn't sell to someone who didn't smell right, and I think that's a good thing. I think the majority of the people he'd offend voted for Obama. While I can see the benefit of not giving them ammunition to use against us, I don't believe in preaching their gospel, just to avoid their wrath. Maybe I'm wrong, but I wouldn't sell to someone who brought a prayer rug to the meet, or said "Allah Akbar".
While I see the point of not demonizing firearms, guns are dangerous weapons. That's why we carry them. My intent in carrying a gun is to provide a deterrent which is not only dangerous, but very likely deadly, to those who would pose a threat to me or mine. We may not need goofy guys as our self-proclaimed spokesmen, but it doesn't mean they are automatically wrong.
He has a right to refuse service to anyone he wants for any reason but I still disagree with him
To say "if you are a devout muslim then you are not a true American" is just plain bigoted and close minded.
What ever happened to judging a person on the content of their character??

Yeah... I see, and concede, your point.
Maybe I've read too many Vince Flynn novels lately, but I don't think I trust my insight enough to beieve that I could accurately judge the character of a stranger 100% of the time, in a brief meeting. In a perfect world, I'd give benefit of doubt, or take the time necessary to learn their true character. In our imperfect world, I'm afraid I'll err on the side of (my perceived) safety, admittedly based on gut feeling. This applies to my perception that someone might be a terrorist, a gang-banger, a criminal, an illegal, or just too moronic for me to feel good about selling them a gun. While it feels hypocritical and contrary to most of my core beliefs, I can live with the injustice.

Care to go deeper on this one?
Per Muslim belief, his allegiance is to Allah, the moon god of Arabia. He is to uphold the five pillars of Islam and the Quran. His capital per say is Mecca to which he turns to prayer five times a day.
Furthermore, a devout Muslim must not make friends of Christian and Jews (Look up 5th tab verse 51 in Quran). Muslim also must submit to the Imams and Mullahs which have declared and swore the annihilation of Israel and destruction of USA.
Moreover, a devout muslim is instructed to marry four women and multiply. He is allowed and expected to 'beat and scourge' his wife in honor killing when she disobey him. 4th tab verse 34 in Quran.
Most of all, a devout muslim per Quran believes that Muhamad and Islam do not allow freedom of religion and expression hence why Islam and Democracy do not belong in a sentence.
I have few moderate muslim friends who came here with me to be Americans. Even them are here to escape these so called devout muslims who follow the quran word by word.

Man...
I can't argue that.
Crazy points you have in there.
Who is disagreeing with this guy? Except for one person, no one has said that so far.
I disagree with him.
were I a firearms instructor, if a devout muslim wanted to take my course and pay the fee, I'd have no problem.
if he started spouting BS, talking trash about America, or otherwise acted in a manner not conducive to polite company, I'd refund his fee and ask him to leave.
same with a democrat/liberal/moonbat. I don't give a rats ass about your politics. you want to pay me to train you, I'll be happy to take your money. but if you start acting a fool, pretending your target is george bush and whatnot, then "I reserve the right to refuse service to anyone"
I vehemently disagree with the tenets of islam, but as a christian that has been on the receiving end of bigotry I will not do that to someone else.

The man in the video is a bit misinformed. No where in the Quran does it say if you become a Shahid and blow up the Infidel will you receive 72 virgins in paradise. Devout Muslims (not radical Muslims) are strict to their religion and scourn the west, but peaceful for the most part. Unfortunately, this day & age it is hard to tell who is who. Remember, if a radical Muslim extremist comes to you for firearms training, they aren't going to tell you all the inside details of their plans if they are planning on using it to "strike the heart of the Infidel". I am certain the tangos who flew the planes into those towers didn't tell their flight instuctors their real intentions.
As a business man, I side with this guy on choosing who he gives his service to. I've been in many businesses where a sign was posted: "We reserve the right to refuse business to ANYONE." He's old school and doesn't care who disagrees with him. I have no problem people fighting or standing up for what they believe in - as a U.S. citizen, the Constitution authorizes that right. Although, keep in mind, standing up for opposing views of another doesn't guarantee you don't/shouldn't get smacked in the mouth on occassion (example: Westboro Baptist Church).
I'm just fed the f*** up with the ACLU & other activist groups beacuse they chastize Americans who stand up and speak out about the problems with illegal immigrants, building a mosque at ground zero, and our current commander in chief. They will gripe about infringement upon their Constitutional Rights, but don't care when someone threatens yours. I swear, America is on a spiral downward fall straight to the pit of Hell. How the heck are we going to fix it? [Bang]

I agree with that statement 100% (his, not yours). Call me bigoted and close-minded if you'd like.
MB88 makes some great points on this.
To put it simply, a devout Muslim by nature can not be a true American, and an American that fancies themselves to be Muslim are fooling themselves as they are not true to their religion. You can be one or the other, not both.
Sorry guys for my statement. I guess I forget the part in the constitution where it says only NON MUSLIMS can be good citizens of America.
My mistake. Forgive my ignorance.....
Acid test: Replace the word Muslim with any other religious, cultural, or ethinic designation, and see if you feel the same way.
40 years ago, the word could have been Russian, or Vietnamese, or Chinese. 70 years ago, it might have been n*gger, Japanese, Buddhist. 100 years ago it might have been Jew or woman.
I'll admit I have my prejudices, but I see them for what they are, and try to look past them for the true character of the person I'm dealing with. Radical Islam is without a doubt a destructive force, but I have known many moderate/secular Muslims that were kind and generous people. The same can be said for most zealots....Westboro Baptist Church, anyone? They CLAIM to be Christians, but most would agree that their stated beliefs and actions belie that assertion.
I'm curious if you guys think that devout Christians, that have an allegiance to God, are true Americans??
Man your trolling this topic...
There are many who will disagree but this nation was founded upon God and the Christian faith, not islam. MB888 has it right about the extreme nature of islam and I suggest that you learn more about it to see the type of enemy the US is at war with and when you get to the part of the quran that says its your duty to kill anyone who won't convert to islam take a good look at who you consider biggoted.
As an Instructor myself I reserve the right and have used it to decline my services to anyone I see fit too. If you have an issue with that then please don't ever ask me for my class. Although I would not have voiced it they way that ol guy did I do think that he is within his right to teach whoever he wants.

Can't say it enough...This is our enemy and make no mistake about it. Also if you think this old man is a bigot then you need to ask yourself this, if I had someone tell me that they wanted to kill myself, family and country, would you give them the means to complete their mission? Sounds like a radical question but let me ask you, is this not what has been said publicly by devout members of this peaceful religion?

Let's put it this way. Having growing up in a muslim country - I have been told many many times by folks who you would consider very moderate muslim and by the imam who leads thousand and thousand congregation members that according to Quran, to kill the infidels (all non muslim), a muslim still goes to nirvana/heaven.
The first 1/4 of Quran tells story of young Muhammad. The last 3/4 is about waging wars on the non believers.
If anyone could show that same violence encouragement in any religions, I am all ears. I am not a devout Christian by all mean - but there are 3 references to violence in the old testament. Christian also teaches if you believe in Him you will be saved whereas Muslim teaches nonbelievers shall be punished. Similar message - one is hope, the other one with stroke of fear.
Quran also mentions the Bible and Christian multiple time...
The unbelievers among the People of the Book
(the Book is the Bible) and the pagans shall burn for ever in the fire of Hell. They are the vilest of all creatures.
Quran 98:6
Commanding Christian beheading/execution?
When you meet the unbelievers in the battlefield strike off their heads and, when you have laid them low, bind your captives firmly.
Quran 47:4
Let not the unbelievers think that they will ever get away. They have not the power to do so. Muster against them all the men and cavalry at your command, so that you may strike terror into the enemy of God and your enemy...
Quran 8:59-60
Believers, make war on the infidels who dwell around you. Deal firmly with them. Know that God is with the righteous.
Quran 9:123
and so on... I am not an expert on the bible, but all those years they made me read Quran certainly have some of these imprinted in my mind. There countless of ex muslim or ex terrorist who speak so strongly against the muslim belief, but of course they are being ignored by the mainstream. Because to be politically correct, you must embrace all humanity even though some of them are brainwashed since birth. Call me bigot, but I know who my enemy are.

I actually applaud his honesty and defend his right to refuse service to anyone he wants. Usually when people are allowed to speak their mind they expose who they truly are, good and bad.
And I am most certainly NOT making an argument for islam or defending its beliefs in anyway.
But, its not about what islam is or isn't. Its about making a statement that any devout muslim is not a true american and that is just bull****.
He's a bigot for that statement and I don't care if you agree or not.
But how could you be a devout muslim in a country of "infidels"? How could you consider your self a true american if your faith tells you to kill anyone who is not muslim. How could you call yourself an american but your faith and leaders of that faith say america is the "Great Satan". you would be a hipocrite. You cannot serve 2 masters.

What does it mean to be an American to you then? Serious question, serious debate, not being smart ass or picking a fight. Because I am embracing this country and its freedom very much. Coming from a moderate muslim country where devout woman muslim cannot even show her hair, the sentence that devout muslim can be true american is not logical whatsoever.
I disagree with him.

I can replace it with Commie and still feel the same way. I don't care if you're Russian, Vietnamese, a female, whatever... that's something you're born into and have no control over. Islam, Communism, etc. are beliefs... something you choose to believe in and be a part of, and something you can choose to NOT be a part of as well.
I'll admit I have my prejudices, but I see them for what they are, and try to look past them for the true character of the person I'm dealing with. The WBC people aren't truly following the word of the Bible... they're singling out bits and pieces that they like and ignoring the rest. The moderate/secular "Muslims" you know do the same exact thing, and are just as crazy in the eyes of true Muslims. They're taking bits and pieces of the Quran and ignoring the rest... they are not true Muslims.
The difference between the WBC people and "radical Islam" (incorrect name for it, and you'll see why) is that the WBC scum is, as I've said, taking bits and pieces out of the bible and twisting them into something else, and ignoring the rest. The "radical" Muslims on the other hand are taking the entire Quran and interpreting it directly, putting no twist on its words, and doing exactly what it says. They aren't radical, they're fundamental, and that is why you can NOT be both an American and a true Muslim.
I'm curious if you guys think that devout Christians, that have an allegiance to God, are true Americans??
Christianity has not declared a war against the West and specifically against the Great Satan (US/Americans).
But, its not about what islam is or isn't. Its about making a statement that any devout muslim is not a true american and that is just bull****.
All you have to do is take a look at MB888's posts. Just remove your PC goggles and you'll see this for what it is.
Also, something I want to clear up for you as you apparently don't understand it. Comparing Christianity to Islam is apples to oranges... Christianity is a religion, Islam is a Theocracy.

He said that in order for the Westboro baptist people to "get away" with what they do in their own conscience, they have to bastardize the bible. Which means, pick and choose and not truly follow what it says.
For terrorists to "get away" with what they do, they just have to TRULY follow the Quran and what it teaches. There is no bastardization or misrepresentation of the text.
There is an EXTREME difference in those two statements.

If it wasn't for Christianity/Judaism, the modern medical industry wouldn't be what it is today. All hospitals were originally started by, maintained, and funded by churches. Only churches would take care of the sick, poor and orphaned.
Not to mention that the vast majority of charitable donations, food banks, etc, all come from religious organizations, particularly Christian and Jewish based ones.
You of course are entitled to your opinion, but religion STILL serves a pretty great purpose in modern society.
