Bob Swainson - A+ Good to Go!
Defensive Response Training (DRT Ops) - A+ Good to Go!
Mean Streets Tactical - A+ Good to Go!
Graham Dunn (Training & Advisory Services, LLC) - A+ Good to Go!

Anyone charging more than these guys, you better get a resume and current feedback. I look for classes that are priced around the $150 mark for a 1-day shooting course, none of these guys are over that from what I've experienced.

Don't get me wrong, there are excellent shooting courses out there that cost quite a bit more, but you are also getting what you pay for (i.e Magpul, Armed Response, Suarez International, Viking Tactics, etc.). Problem is, most of those only make it around to the Colorado area once in a while.

I've known RW (Bob) Swainson for years. He's a retired Lakewood SWAT Sgt and LE firearms instructor. I've been shooting competitions with him since 2005. He a master class shooter AND a teacher. That's a hard combo to find. He is who I recommend, and I don't recommend many.

RW is the best. One of the best teachers around. Solid skills and great attitude towards teaching new and experienced shooters. If you are looking for a Basic CCW class (by no way is his class basic though - you will shoot A LOT) or looking for a specific skillset on nearly any platform give him a call.
