I am looking for suggestions for a high quality generator for times when the power goes out, possibly for extended periods of time. I think something in a 4000Kw to 6500 Kw. Tri-fuel is a must, as propane basically lasts forever, but is capable of using gasoline if it is what is available.

I was interested in them a few years back. There was one brand that stuck out as affordable quality, 3x as costly as a gas generator. Now I can't find the company, guess it wasn't as good as I thought. Seeing a bunch of conversion kits on the market now, might be more up my alley.

Central Maine Diesel offers multi-fuel generators in various configurations. They have tri-fuel kits to add on to Honda and other generators as well. I'm going to order a kit to put on my little Honda EU2000is.
