I put this on my Facebook today in about the 2nd quarter ....
"I just Figured it out ................. Tebow is the Justin Bieber of Football.... He's wildly popular but no one can really figure out why ....
I will from now on call him TEIBER!"
I think it sums it up fairly well .

I thought he made improvements this game. Still has a lot of work to do. Our defense was impressively horrible though.
On a good note, The Avs won and DU Hockey still kicks ass.

At one point in time John Elway was a TERRIBLE Quarterback. But given quite a few years, he became one of the best to ever play.
Tebow has a solid base to become great, he just needs time to PLAY and hone those skills.
T-BLOW.
give Brady Quinn a chance. He has the luck of the Irish on his side

first I am a former UF gator, I have been watching professional football for nearly 35 years, I have never seen so many issues with an NFL QB,
his footwork, his decision making , he telegraphs every throw, way too long to get rid of the ball, his eyes alone tell you exactly where he is looking, he never looks for a second target,
I just don't see it getting better. he had an entire college career to become a QB,

The entire team sucked badly unfortunately. There was nothing impressive at all.

Are you going to the game?
No, if I wanted to watch a bunch of spoiled entitlement losers I would go to the occupy protests and save myself $200 a seat.

all changing qb's proved was how bad the whole team is right now.
I love how the first thing people say is "he was sacked seven times!!!" like that's his fault.
only threw one pick.
very reminiscent of the broncos from the 80's.

at the end of the day I really could care less about the broncos. My Notre Dame Irish had a heck of a good game this week! I prefer college ball over NFL any day

Looked like 1983 all over. :)
I agree w/ all.
I seriously did not know the fuss w/ Tebow even last year.
Even comparing Tebow with Orton or QUinn wasn't right.
He is a good College Football QuarterBack like Troy Smith, Vincent Young, and Chad Henne.
Not a good NFL QB [yet].

While I am not ready to throw him under the bus as of yet, it does look bad.
Running a football team based on public opinion, doesnt work. Look at every other orginization that tries, ie our government.
What do Pat Bowlen and OJ Simpson have in common? They both own slow, white Broncos.[ROFL3]
Here is a dollar. You can keep most of the change. All I want is a quarter back.

Use screens and **** for short passes. That coach through Tebow to the wolves. Bad game plan. Fire the coach. Tebow is a work in progress, he will be fine. He just need to change up some mechanics with footwork and throwing faster. Needs an off season workout with a good QB :-)
From my armchair:
Tebow has the potential to be a great QB. His undeniable charisma positions him to be a real leader, something the Broncos have lacked since Elway retired.
Denver needs to get some beef on the offensive line. It's hard (especially for someone that is just getting their feet wet) to make good decisions, good passes, etcetera, while running for their life EVERY FRICKEN PLAY.
Get some credible running backs, and teach your receivers to block. If you have no running game, then your opponents only need to defend the pass.
A defense that allows 7 yards a play is not helping. The only bright spot in the defense at the moment is a rookie. The line can't get any pressure on the opposing QB, and the secondary is letting far too many 15+ yard plays develop.

That is why Tebow will be a winner, because of who he is.... If Denver trade him Denver's loss. You don't have to worry about him getting arrested and choking his girlfriend.. You want a guy like that to be the face of your team. Now all they have to do is follow your lead. Put some beef on that line. Don't care what QB you got getting sacked 8 times a game not going to work. Denver defense got torched like burnt toast yesterday, and that was not Tebow's fault. You can put any QB in the lead in Denver and they still would have loss yesterday.... Oh yeah I will TRADE you Tony Romo for Tim Tebow. Call up Jerry Jones lmao he will make that trade. Tebow sells tickets and we need ticket sells in Dallas..[ROFL1][ROFL2][ROFL3]

Déjà vu... Wasn't the same phrase used to describe Jay Cutler a few years ago? I haven't seem Cutler peak and I certainly don't expect Tebow to be much different.

If I had a good off season workout with a good qb I could start for the broncos too. Either you have it or you don't

Well said. The TEAM needs to tough out this season, get a little more experience while they're at it and re-build this off-season and maybe come back for a 500 season next year.
No matter how you shake a stick at it, the Broncos have a lot of problems that need to be worked out before they can win...and that will be a few years IMO.

Woo hoo! My armchair analyst time!
At one point in time John Elway was a TERRIBLE Quarterback. But given quite a few years, he became one of the best to ever play.

Tebow has been playing quarterback since he was 10. He's played enough to be at the peak of his performance, and frankly, he doesn't have what it takes to be a NFL quarterback, all positive niceness and leadership aside. His throwing technique caused a couple of those turnovers, due to him laying the ball too far back behind him and outward to throw, which was a fair game target a couple of times.
I agree w/ all.
I seriously did not know the fuss w/ Tebow even last year.
Even comparing Tebow with Orton or QUinn wasn't right.

Agreed. Say Ryan Leaf anyone?
While I am not ready to throw him under the bus as of yet, it does look bad.

I agree with this wholeheartedly. The fact that the team even listened to the fans and acquiesced to their "demands" for Tebow was truly pathetic. I think everyone got to see the Tebow that Elway and company saw in practice that made him a 2nd or 3rd stringer and not the starter. Orton isn't a ball of fire and certainly won't run or scramble, but he will sit in the pocket and will take his 2nd and 3rd reads before throwing the ball away.
That is why Tebow will be a winner, because of who he is.... If Denver trade him Denver's loss. You don't have to worry about him getting arrested and choking his girlfriend.. You want a guy like that to be the face of your team. Now all they have to do is follow your lead. Put some beef on that line.
Tebow is a decent person, but for whatever reason, anyone who disagrees with his football ability is naturally attacked for attacking him and his spirituality personally. Separate the two. He is a positive role model in the community, but that doesn't equate with being a good football player anymore than being a bad guy equates with being a good football player.
On a side note: what kind of news story would that be if Tebow was found in a Colfax motel with an eightball of coke and two hookers!! Wow!

The funny part about the quotes from the Lions and their trash talking about how terrible Tebow is that the Lions haven't had anything close to a winning season in a decade...they have been the joke of the NFL for years. What was it, 2008 they went 0-16? The first team in history to do that!
Short memories I guess...

so tebow get sacked 7 times, fumble the ball, and throws an interception, and he is just not getting the protection he needs, but when Orton get sacked 6 times, and loses a game he is a crappy QB,
I think you tebow fans need to apply the same litmus test to each player,
if we had a the rest of team firing on all cylinders I would go with the guy that averaged 257 yds a game the last two seasons. Oh by the way that was orton,
throwing 257 yds a game, combine that with a 60% completion rate, a good running game a decent defense and a decent OL and we have something don't we.
the QB is not the answer here. and keeping the best receiver in the NFl wouldn't have been bad idea either

Suck.....oh .....sorry, just saw the thread title! But seriously. Everyone seems to be dogging on Tebow! How about Cam Newton!? Rookie, many mistakes, but coming outta college with a national championship win, maybe Tebow needed the same!? Not saying either are throwing great but who still has the fire from college?? I freaking hate Newton cause he's a typical, nevermind. I think Tebow has a chance if they give him a chance, I mean more than a few games! But who am I to say, I'm born is wisco....GO PACKERS!!![Beer]

I Say we trade the entire team for a sno-cone, knock down the [Insert name of the week] stadium and build a dog park, cut our losses and root for a local high school team.
At least we wouldn't have to pay an outrageous ammount for tickets.
As an OSU being my 2nd favorite team (due to wife), I watched the Florida vs OSU game yrs back (forgot which yr it was now).
I said to my self......
"Tebow and Smith will have a rough time in NFL"
Look at all their TDs on that game....
One wrong I made was
IF Troy plays with Ginn JR, he might be an avg QB... BOY I WAS WRONG.
He was below avg even with Ginn JR.
NFL sure ain't NCAA. [LOL]
