I'm not sure if I'll be able to make the December shoot. There's plenty to do just getting ready for Christmas.
I was thinking of moveing it to the 9th. Would there be any intrest in that date or, Should I leave it the same?

16th is the first weekend after school gets out for the semester, so I personally would prefer to keep it that day. Unfortunately I didn't have any evil textbooks this semester that I would like to shoot up, but I'm sure I'll have some post-finals stress to bleed off anyway. [postal]
Did You vote in the poll?

I did not vote because if I can make it I will if not so be it. You all pick a date and I will do my best to be there.
Is the North Shoot still on for this Sat? [postal]
Unless it snows 3' or something. I should still make it.

OK, apparently you are too young to remember the movie, his name was FLINT! :P Karl.

Brians right, the saying actually goes back to the days of Errol Flynn

OK, I'll buy that I guess. Karl. [roll]
I have heard the "Flint" version also. I would assume, That they both stem from the same type of legend with the Ladies.
“What is the derivation of in like Flynn?” (http://www.worldwidewords.org/qa/qa-inl1.htm)
I may not be able to make this shoot either. I will probably be building a wheelchair ramp for the wife.

Good luck with the ramp Greg.
I would offer my feeble help, but will be working on my Mother's house this W/end.
It appears that the weather is going to be crappy this weekend.
Yep, I'll have to see how it plays out tomorrow.

Hmmm.... www.accuweather.com says:
Colder with times of clouds and sun. Winds from the E at 4 mph.
Realfeel®: 45 °F
High: 45 °F
www.weather.com says:
Mostly cloudy. Highs in the mid 40s and lows in the low 20s.
Looks like it will be a bit chilly, but no high winds, rain or snow. I'm still in. I'm trying to get a few newbie friends to come with, too.

I'm in unless there's snow coming down saturday.
http://www.9news.com/weather/forecast.aspx
A cold front will pass over the state early on Saturday and bring much colder air our way for the weekend. Some flurries or light snow showers will be possible Saturday afternoon through early next week.

Keep in mind the North spot is at almost 10,000 feet elevation. I would not be surprised to have it be tolerable in town and shitty up there.
...and windy as hell with a strong front coming in.

Yeah, that's why I typed in Lyons, CO as the city for the forecasts that I posted above.
Looks like both sites are now giving slightly higher temperatures for Saturday:
Saturday, Dec 16
Intermittent Clouds
Colder with sun and clouds. Winds from the ENE at 4 mph.
Realfeel®: 49 °F
High: 49 °F
Saturday Night, Dec 16
Flurries
Overcast with a couple of flurries late. Winds from the NE at 4 mph.
Realfeel®: 16 °F
Low: 21 °F

Lol don't jinx yourself. The last shoot (Nov 18) was my birthday, and I got the flu that morning and still haven't celebrated.
If the weather's nice I'd like to make it, but we'll have to see.

The ground was dry, minimal wind, one of Spencer's friend was in a T-shirt.
I said my goodbyes to the Akins accelerator.
