I just don't like the comment about The Judge (pistol).

Definitely more to it than just having a firearm on your person but I definitely appreciate his insistence that citizens, especially women, arm themselves.

I like that as sheriff he has the guts to say that stuff! He may be job hunting soon but it sounds like hes had enough. LE is great, but they cant be everywhere people need to help them selves now and then.

meh, I agree with the sentiment but I don't trust him.

sounds good for the camera but as soon as they think you defended your life a little to strenuously the book flies, at you.

and even if he was on your side, who knows about the PD or the DA.

Maybe he has stock in the judge [Beer]

Seriously, glad to see more sheriff's like him. I'm sick of admins making people who are gun people out to be the bad guys...even the officers that work for them.

They should all be like him. Unfortunately most of them are liberal control freaks who "Know better than you what's good for you".

Good for him. Hopefully some people will listen to his encouragement.

Wright said in his view, gun control is, "Is when you can get your barrel back on the target quick. That’s gun control."

hahahahaha

I heard an NPR story today about drug neighborhoods and how to clean them up. The interviewer said, "I noticed that you don't mention gun control measures in your book. Aren't there studies that show that they are effective or at least part of the solution to bring down crime?"

The guy said, "And how's that gun control working out so far?"

It was awesome. He wrote a whole book about violent crime with drugs and gangs and didn't even mention gun control because it doesn't work at all.
